Maximum occupancy on the hardwood is two players from each team, but each of the 29 authentic NBA squads offers four of its biggest stars to choose from. The players have individual sets of strengths and weaknesses, but even the scrawniest point guard has superhuman strength on the NBA Jam court. There are four different ways to play: Season Game, Head-To-Head (one player uses the A and B buttons, the other uses the Control Pad), Playoffs, and an intense practice mode that allows you and a teammate to finesse three pointers and monster stuffs. ""Juice Mode"" lets you pump up the game speed to five times its normal rate, which results in a frantic jam-fest." |
