Combining the edgy world of extreme sports with the cutesy appeal of cartoonish characters, Infogrames invites gamers to enter the realm of adrenaline junkies. Poking harmless fun at a certain citrus-flavored caffeinated beverage, the action in Xtreme Sports is based on a challenge organized by Xtreme Cola. In a brilliant display of marketing genius, Xtreme Cola has invited all extreme sports fanatics to get crazy on the mysterious Xtreme Sports Island. Controlling either Guppi or her boyfriend Fin, players can compete in five different events: Street Luge, Skateboarding, In-line Skating, Surfing and Skyboarding. In the Xtreme Island Adventure Mode, players will compete against more than 200 competitors on 25 unique courses. Drinking Twitchy Shake power-ups and earning medals along the way, players have to prove themselves in competition before new events become available. Xtreme Sports is compatible only with Game Boy Color. |
