Pros: Very arcade-like, good graphics, fun for a while Cons: Not much depth, a little repetitive, weak two player mode.
Regardless of what some may have told you, Cruis'n USA really isn't that terrible. Sure it's no Gran Turismo or San Francisco Rush, but it's not as bad as some may have led you to believe it is.
The first thing I noticed when playing Cruis'n...

Pros: easy to learn Cons: Everything else
Cruis'N USA is one of the most unupdated games I've ever played! It looks like it belongs in a 1991 arcade! Maybe they just forgot that N64 is 64 bit not 32 like SNES!
GRAPHICS: I've seen better garphics on a SNES game! This game may have...

Pros: Brings back fond memories. Cons: Not a good game for a home system.
There was one game at the bowling lanes that was never free. The NEO-GEO wrestling was never in use; the NHL 1993 playoff pinball game was gathering dust, but the Cruise n’ USA car racing game had a line as far as the eye could see for a chance to play...

Pros: Sound, graphics Cons: Game modes, car selection
My friend purchased Cruis'n USA, because it was then one of the best racing games out there. We used to play all the time.
Control: (4/5)
Playing was pretty simple, except for sudden or sharp turns. Also, you get to play almost as soon...

Pros: Fun to play, good for beginners perhaps. Cons: Levels can be a little bit unchallenging, too few cars to choose from.
Cute really does describe this game. Long straightaway courses with few sharp turns, wacky locales (driving through the grand canyon? Isn't there a river down there instead of a highway?), and cartoon indestructible cars make this game a cute (have I...

Pros: Nice Ferrari....er... Italia P9 Cons: Drugery driving game ported awfully
Midway and Nintendo's smash arcade hit, Cruis'n USA hits the N64 on launch dated and unimpressive. For N64's birth, the system has a bunch of passable games that were very expensive. Choosing the right one was not easy considering in those days you had...

Pros: Fun at first Cons: Not entertainment for more than a few hours
I rented this game when it first came out and since I love playing this game in arcades I figured it would be cool and you don't have to give a hungry machine 50 cents for every play.
This game was really cool until I realized what else...

Pros: great game, very easy Cons: very short
this game is one of the first and best racing games ever made in it's platform. everything is basically cool about this game from the race tracks, the cars, to the cool soundtrack that sticks in your head for so long. the even add a little destruction....

Pros: Different Tracks Cons: The Music is too repetitive
When I play Cruis'n USA, it is only for about 15-20 minutes. There are features in this game that I just get annoyed by. However, if you like racing games, then this is a good addition to your collection.
Realism: This game is, by far,...

Pros: Good MultiPlayer Game Play Cons: SinglePlayer Game Play Is Boring And Not That Good
Crusin' USA was one of the most fun games I have ever purchased for multiplayer purposes on the Nintendo 64. It has fairly good graphics and the cheats are rather easy to learn so you can use cars such as police cars, buses, and more... The races are...

Pros: Fun to play, good framerate Cons: Graphics, Sound, Music is annoying, replay value
Crusin' USA is not all that bad a game. It has 13 tracks, all of which are stretches of road, and 7 different cars. The game is not at all realistic but just fun to play. The control is very responsive. Playing with 2 players is a must. The graphics...

Pros: car upgrades Cons: Stop catching up to me!
This is not the worst game ever made. In fact, as far as raacing games go I think this is one of the top contenders.
The Plot:Ok, so there's not a lot to look at here. You get your car, race it across america. Wham, bamb, thank you...

Pros: Fun knocking over the barrier cones. Cons: Bad graphics, limited variety, poor quality, horrible music, annoying sound effects, beaten too easily, gets real boring.
When I purchased this game at first, I thought it was OK. When I beat it in about two hours, my appreciation started to drop.
Now, the game is an OK game, don't get me wrong. But the developers could have done many things to make it better....

Pros: Fun for awhile and good sound effects. Better than California Speed. Cons: Unimpressive graphics and music, nothing that sets itself apart from the arcade version. Sloppy steering control.
The first arcade racer on the N64 is probably one of the more dissappointing ones. Cruisn' USA is a racing game that's fun at first, but makes you wonder why you still own it a month later. Basically, all you do is race from Califorina to Washington D.C....

Pros: Not bad graphics and easy controls Cons: Not enough cars and the game is way to easy
Cruisin the USA was one of the first car racing games to come out and it was not all that bad at the time but it lacks compared to the newer racers.
Gameplay
I think the game is directed to younger kids because the controls are...
