Pros: Long lasting fun Cons: frustrating at times
This game is nonstop fun. Like all past Zeldas this game holds the same basic plot, save Zelda and The world from evil Gannon. Hours upon Hours of playing time stacked up by me and a couple of buddies barely put a dent in this game. Unlike many gamers...

Pros: Great story, great controls, great music and graphics Cons: It eventually ends!
What can I say about this game. Zelda 64 is the best game I have ever played. It has SUPERB graphics. Everything is displayed in a flawless 3D world. The sound effects and music are so catchy, you will often find yourself humming the tunes around the...

Pros: Graphics are amazing Cons: Fairly difficult at times
From the moment you descend into the opening cinema, you get the feeling that this is a movie rather then a game. The cutscenes are perfect, easily rivaling the capabilities of the playstation. The gameplay is perfect, millions of times i just...

Pros: another great Zelda adventure Cons: addictive
Once again, you are Link, a small elf with a heroic background. You start out as a 12 year old Link in his house and must battle the great Deku Tree. After you beat 3 levels as small Link, you may grow into a much older Link at 18, then you may use...

Pros: Everything. Period. Cons: Replay value.
Don't buy this game if you don't have free time. You will become addicted in no time at all to what I believe is one of the best games made for any Nintendo.
In this game, you start off as a child named Link (who is familiar to all you...

Pros: The Z-targeting system, lots of temples and dungeons, great storyline, Zelda 3D! Cons: Nothing
Come on, it's hard to find someone who do not like this game, the hype upon this game is incredible, I think even someone who never played this game claims it to be the best ever, but then again the game is really flawless, the graphics are amazing for the time it were released, the sound is great, the controls are innovative and outstandingly functional, the replay value is awesome and and a magic and inspired storyline makes this a perfect game, literally!

I don't care for this
by goku10234 ,Sep 12 '06
Pros: Nice until you get stuck Cons: Hard and confusing
Don't get me wrong, this game is good, but I just don't like it that much. Its hard and confusing, and with all the hard games that I've beat, this is, if not the hardest, one of the hardest games I've played.

Legend Of Zelda - An N64 Triumph
by cam_26 ,Feb 28 '06
Pros: Offers sufficient challenges to even the most seasoned N64 gamers.
Fun mini-quests (optional)
Cons: Game doesn't offer much after completion
The Legend Of Zelda - Ocarina Of Time is by far one of the most diverse and enthralling games released for N64. In the game you play as Link, the Hero Of Time, who's on a quest to save the land of Hyrule from being consumed by evil at the hands of Ganondorf. You play both as child and adult Link in the game, trying to obtain spiritual stones from dungeons as young Link and battling your way through temples as adult Link, before the ultimate showdown with Ganondorf himself. Despite it's 1998 release date, the graphics are smooth and impressive and gameplay is effectively soundtracked. I would recommend this game to any keen N64 gamer as it offers a wealth of gameplay that is both challenging and exciting.

a game to compare all others by
by thecheat ,Nov 30 '04
Pros: play, controls, items, easiness to play, size of game Cons: being a little older it could use a good graphics makeover
This is one of the best games I have ever played. You cannot beat this game in under 2 hours which is a good thing unlike some other games. Great play, good controls, very addicting, I have not, so far, found a game that tops this one. If you are looking to buy this one I urge you to do so.

Nentendo does it again
by pretzelking ,May 21 '04
Pros: Fairly long, good replay value, triforce, time travel? Best story ever for a video game. Cons: Wierd story on the beginning of the world, and no solid ending
The only solid reason to get a N64, packed with all sorts of side quests. Getting all the songs, gold skullatas, epona, big goron sword, and 2000 points on a dumb horse archery game (which should score you something good, though I've never done it). Larger carrying cases for ammo and various other things should keep you excited for a long time. Definately makes you wanna get "Majoras Mask"

Overrated!
by ghaleon0075 ,Feb 11 '04
Pros: Some temples, combat Cons: graphics, story, not too fun
I think that this is the most over rated game. Sure it's decent, but it's not that great.
The controles in the game are very solid and hard to slip up on. The combat is also good. The side quests, like the golden spider one and the Big Goron Sword one, are okay. The main quest is the game's strong point, although the story isn't that great.
The graphics arn't good at all by today's standard. There are a few combat glitches that can get frustrating. And sometimes I find myself going around temples and forests not having any fun.
If you have a GCN, but still play this, go to Metroid Prime or Wind Waker instead.

the greatest rpg of all!!!
by ckyjjy ,Jan 11 '04
Pros: Great gameplay, weapons, everything is good Cons: some of the speeches can get annoying
The legend of Zelda: ocarina of time is probably in the top three best games for nintendo 64. Not much else can compete with it. It's a fun and entertaining game for all ages. It provides hours of fun. I like this game because it has more than ten levels in it. Most modern games today may have the best graphics on the market but the gameplay really sucks. This has numerous levels with ample graphics. The game starts off where you are a kid and you have to find three realms. After that you become an adult and battle through six huge temples. Believe me this game does not get boring. SO buy it. Now!
