Overview I first played Worms on the PlayStation several years ago, and instantly knew that Team 17, stalwarts of the Amiga age, had produced yet another classic. What could be simpler than teams of worms blowing each other up? ...

Pros: Fun to play. Easy, addictive gameplay Cons: Worm Net can occasionally get a little unstable
When you hear about Worms, what do you think? Fisherman are thinking “Mmm, bait.” But most gamers like you and I have a different definition to this entertaining species. How are worms interesting? If you have ever played a game called...

Pros: Great environments and weapons. You won't find these guys in your bowels... Cons: Nothing at all
If you tried to explain the concept behind Worms to anyone whos never played the game you would sound pretty lame: Its really cool, you tell your friends. Youve got a team of worms and you take turns to kill each other with ...

Pros: Highly Customizable, Cheap, High Replay Value, Lotsa Fun, Thriving Net Community Cons: Computers to Gosh Darn Good!
Worms Armageddon has forever changed the way I look at worms. Before I thought they were simply slimy little creatures who ate dirt, and I confess I ate one as kid for a dollar. But now I look upon those years with regret as that prior ignorant bias...

Pros: Worms with Holy Hand Grenades, what more could you want? Cons: Normal missions restrictions eliminate all the fun of the single player game.
The guys over at Team 17 have cranked out another sequel to their cult hit Worms. (Unlike David Koresh and Jim Jones, who were 1-cult hit wonders.) The concept of the game, if you haven't played it before, is very simple. It's like that old BASIC game...

Pros: Funny, and customisable. Superb playability. Cons: Has been superceded. Graphics aren't exactly "state of the art"!
for those people who have never played any worms games, here's a quick guide to the basic workings of the game: in the basic game (the one played the most often), each player (either human or computer) starts off with a number of small cartoon worms ...

Pros: Cute, funny sounds and graphics, it is ok for the older kids Cons: May be to violent in some aspects, and for the younger kids not recommended
I have owned Worms Armageddon for a few years now, and I play it quite often, as well as my nephews who get a real big kick out of it. They like it mostly because of the funny sounds the worms make.
I agree with the statement grinwell said...

Pros: endlessly replayable, great multiplayer, strategic, cute Cons: un-fun single player game
My brother and I have sort of a new tradition: every time we see each other during holidays or what not, we fire up Worms and play it for hours. We tried to mix it up with other games -- Quake III, Klingon Academy... but nothing was as much fun as...

Pros: great graphics, sound, replay value, smart AI and awesome multi-player Cons: some hard and annoying training missions
Just like Worms 2, its another great and smashing hit to add to the Worms’s series. This game is just like the other Worms' games, in which you can multiplayer on one computer or on the Internet. This game has incredible graphics but is still very...

Pros: Excellent fun. Very entertaining and funny to play. Cons: Very addictive. The computer worms can be stupid.
Worms Armageddon was the third version of the Worms series released and to me it's the best one yet overall. When the original Worms came out it was hugely popular all over the world and became Platinum in a very fast time. Worms...

Pros: Great little graphics, colorful scenery Cons: none
If you liked Scorched Earth, Worms Armageddon is for you. This game brings back that warm fuzzy feeling of arming yourself with a grenade and blowing the @$#&% out of your neighbor for fun. (Insert evil cackle here)
In a revived and skewed...

Pros: Addictive, massive multiplayer world, good graphics, cheap! Cons: Not stable under Windows ME, AI can be too perfect
Worms Armageddon is the sequel to the ever so popular Worms 2, and the original, Worms. You are a little tiny (or a group of little tiny) worms with an arsenal of the most destructive weapons ever thought of. You go head to head with other worms...

Pros: addictive gameplay, funny weapons Cons: tough A.I. at some points
Worms Armageddon is easily the best worms to date and is of the best multiplayer games for any console. It is a like a chess game where the pawns are worms with heavy artillery. The game takes skill and strategy to complete the training and deathmatch...

The Good Bits
From the first time I played the beta version of this game at a friend's house I was hooked. Even before I got the full version on CD and found out that you can play for no extra charge over a server in the UK (Wormnet), I knew...

Pros: One of the most fun games I have ever played, many weapons, many options, sound Cons: Takes some time to get the hang of it, 2D graphics?
This game is what fun in games is all about!
It is not some high quality 3D graphics, and that is actually the right thing if you ask me, because that would only spoil the game. It would strip it of its primary intention-FUN. This is an incredibly...
