Most People thought Squaresoft could never top Final Fantasy VII. Well they were wrong.
Square made a hit game in Final Fantasy VIII and it will never be forgotten. Most People were mad when Square Left Nintendo for Sony. I Personally think it was a step in the right direction.
With Square moving to Sony They were able to produce games with bettere graphics and more storage space. They are able to make multi disc games. But back to the Subject.
Final Fantasy VIII really bypassed Final Fantasy VII in everything but difficulty. I turned on the game and my jaw dropped i couldnt help from drooling. I can't wait to see the Computer Version Coming out January 28 this coming FRIDAY.
The only thing that i dislike about about it is the way they set up the magic system and the guardian force system. i think that there should be a limit on how many times a GF can be used per Battle. I think its a great game but there are many improvements that can be made. Personally i hope they go back to Magic Points if they make a Final Fantasy VIIII along with the esper system in Final Fantasy III
