I was out looking for a new game that my roommate and I could play on our little LAN. We were thinking about a racing game. Doom and Duke Nukem have always been on our minds since we started to play them about 5 years ago. Our favorite next-generation first person shooter game was Half-Life until now. Although this game is really fun, the multiplayer aspect of it could use some help. Unreal Tournament blows any first person role playing game out of the water. If you are planning to not use this game as a multiplayer game then you might think about another game, but if you love taking on a friend on your LAN or on the Internet this is the game for you. The environments are the best that I have ever seen. You sometimes find yourself looking around just to see the awesome scenery. They also have other missions besides the same old death match that we are all use to. Capture the Flag, Domination, and Assault are all different ways to play, giving new goals and strategies to the first person games. So go out and spend the $50.00 and have a blast. You will not be disappointed.
