Today in my head I thought of something that might be insane or not normal for a hardcore gamer to do. What is that you ask? I'm thinking of uninstalling Unreal Tournament off my computer. Don't get me wrong this is a great game with numerous amounts of replay value, but there's one MAJOR flaw that many of you can relate with....
Crashes!
I'm stressed out with the crashes and bugs this game has. Imagine climbing the ladder to 2nd or 1st place but only to lose it all to a general protection fault error/critcal error. You lose everything!!! Your honor, respect, YOUR TIME gone!! I've emailed epic several times and they said its not a hardware problem, but a problem with the game itself. Don't expect to get a quick response from them either because it took me 10 strong emails with my game logs to get them my attention. Also another thing that bothers me is mostly everyone TELLS YOU TO TURN OFF THE EXTRA FEATURES LIKE 3D SOUND ETC. Gee I better hold off on buying that new sound card. In my opinion, I think the game itself is buggy and rushed to the market. I never played any game with so many bugs and errors. I thought I was the only one but when I saw on the unreal tournament's message boards of people having the same problems as I am then something was wrong. Two patches already have been released with more coming. What does that show you? I've lost interest in this game and about to move on to something else. I'm still playing team fortress classic for over almost a year and that's amazing. I would suggest people to get this game because it really is an excellent game with many features and mods, but the crashes can destroy your fun! Trust me you'll get a crash.
