the perfect compilation of 3D and hard drawn graphics. I have always been a fan of japanamation but have never been able to have the power to control it. Graphics are a must in a game and in xenogears it is no different. the graphics are a bit cheesy at first glance but as you progress through the game you appreciate the japanimatcally articulated characters and landscape the cut scenes are awesome anime sequences and move very smoothly with the the 3D imagery during game play. The story line is a complex one and takes great patience to make it to the end but it is way worth it. this is probably one of the most well thought out rpg plots i have ever come across. once you get to the gears (giant robots you pilot) you will be hooked. i highly recommend this game to anyone especially die hard rpg fans. this will knock your socks off.
