Faceoff 2000 Is the Best Hockey game from 989 studios. The gameplay is awesome along with the cool create a player and the transactions menu this game plus out all the stops. I have this game and I play it every day. I also had Faceoff 99 when I got this game and faceoff 99 was nothing compared to its proceeder.
There are a few things wrong with this game though. But every game has a flaw. Those things are the reply mode, I mean no one wants to see the player they want to see the goal. Also the main menu music is kind of corny. Its a hockey game not a rock concert. I think they should have a soundtrack of songs you would actually hear at a hockey game. The last thing about the game that bothered me was after you scored a goal where is the hey song. Almost every arena playes that song after a goal so why cant the game. I just hope that NHL Faceoff 2001 has all these corrections.
But in closing I loved this game and ill continue to love it until the next faceoff comes out.
