| Shebawalker's Full Review: Destruction Derby for Nintendo 64 |
The newest "racing" game to hit the 64, Destruction Derby, comes with a crash. The gameplay is fun, but it gets tiresome after a short while.
The whole point of the game is to.. well destroy the other cars by ramming them. You get points for crashes and kills, and the car with the most points wins. Yes, it sounds cool. BUT it does have it's problems. First of all, almost all of the cars are the same but the paint job. They have the same top speed, acceleration etc. (except for the few that are available one after being unlocked) Also a problem are the multiplayer levels. There are a grand total of.... five deathmatch levels. FIVE!!!! Come on!
Although the one player and racing modes are ok, Destruction Derby misses the checkered flag.

The loads of racing games available
