| xeno3998's Full Review: Spawn for PlayStation 1 |
Back when i got my PS in early '98, i got this game with it. Being fresh from years upon years of kick-ass 2D gamin', i was ready for the new wave of console amazement. I tell ya', the day i started playing this game, i nearly whipped the disc out my f--kin window. Instead of colorful graphics, joyous gameplay and difficulty reminiscent of the old days, i got drab, lifeless graphics, atrociously mundane and pathetic gameplay and no difficulty besides wrestling with the controls. Whoever programmed this piece of viking s#it should be horse-whipped. The entire game from the badly constructed intro to the fight sequences and the platforming-type gameplay reeks of sloppiness and misconduct. This "video game" makes me question Epinions' lack of a zero score. When there is something so hideous and retentive that it deprives everyone from knowing they're safe from such evil, justice should be of help. Instead people who don't read this review and just look at the score are going to think that i gave this game a gigantic 20% score. They could also think that i bumped down from 30% ! Either way look at it, if you must have garbage in your hands, why not try renting it and holding to your masochistic chest and inhaling. Maybe you can get that glimpse of true evil that your little ass craves so badly.
