This is my third year in a fantasy football league, made up of a bunch of us friends who love football and competition. Last year, we tried an online commissioner program for the first time, and it cost us $100. This year, I discovered CBS Sportsline Fantasy Football Commissioner, and have more resources available for much less money...FREE!
Yesterday, I took the initial couple hours to enter all the team names, scoring system, rules, etc. and now our league has a website. Some of the many incredible things this program will do for us is keep track of our standings, email injury reports to team owners, maintain a chat room and message board just for our league, create stat reports for any stat you want to know, give pre-draft advice, and so much more. The most exciting feature is the site's live scoring, which will show head-to-head matchups each week, and show you each team's score in real-time, updating it every time a play is made that will affect your team's score or your opponent's team score.
The site can be customized to any scoring system your league may use. You can also customize your league's webpage by creating league and/or team logos, create the format of the page, and even change the colors used on the page.
I highly recommend you visit www.sportsline.com, click on the fantasy tab, and take the guided tour, which will show you all the features of the program. Best of all, CBS Sportsline is a point-based site, with a reward system for your points.
