navywifelynn's Full Review: Bass Masters 2000 for Nintendo 64
This is a pretty good fishing game. You know how you flip through cable channels for an hour and nothing is on, then you hit that fishing show and you cant help but stop and watch for awhile. Well this is that fishing show only you get to fish instead of watching.
You have plenty of options from customizing what your angler looks like to what boat and motor you want. Of course there are plenty of different lures to choose from and lots of fish. One of the best features of this game that I don’t remember from other fishing games is the Lure Cam. You can watch the fish hit the lure and follow the fish all the way to the boat. It is great, better than the fishing show, plus you don’t have some guy speaking your every move aloud.
The only drawback of this game is there are only two lakes, so if you don’t like to go back to the same fishin hole over and over then you might not like this game.
This game can also help you learn to be a better angler in real life. There are plenty of tips and with the Lure Cam you can get a feel for where bass and other fish like to hide.
This is a great single player and multiplayer game.
