Create you best character

The create-a-wrestler feature is so advanced, it needs its own guide. The strategy will be done after explaining the options you have. This guide is intended to work on both WWF 2000 and WWF No Mercy. I'll try to help you create the best character you can, given the many options you have.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some things to consider, when deciding which of a number of moves to choose:

1. Damage level
Each move is rated, by the amount of damage it does to your opponent. The damage level is denoted like a grade. The order from most damaging to least damaging is as follows: S, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. WWF 2000 only has A, B, C, D, and E. I recommend going for the highest grades possible.

2. Location of damage
If you don't know what part of the body a certain move hits, select and look at it. The primary area of damage is where the opponent (dummy) is hit. Having a lot of moves designed to hurt in one area can help you win matches more quickly.

3. Style of wrestler
Developing a style, and having moves fitted to the style can make your wrestler more effective. However, have some flexibility. Make sure your wrestler can still perform in a different style of match.
----------------------------------------------------------------
This is the order in which I recommend creating a wrestler: (I did not include EVERY LAST option, but only the important ones)

1. Your wrestler's moves are definitely customizable. The default moves are all right, but can be changed to be much better.
1A> Grapples
* A grapple is a move that requires you to grab your opponent. Then, you might lift up your opponent. It's broken into front and rear grapples, among others. This is often the main part of a match, and therefore the most important.
1B> Striking moves
* Striking moves are punches and kicks, designed to strike your opponent quickly. You get to choose some punches and kicks. This i the second most important part of the match.
1C> Ground moves
* These moves, submission holds, and striking moves (punches and kicks) are done, when your opponent is on the ground.
1D> Turnbuckle moves
* These moves are done on the turnbuckle, or on top of the turnbuckle.
1E> Taunts
* Taunts usually appeal to the crowd. They have no purpose, in terms of inflicting damage. But, they can help you raise your attitude, and that increases the amount of damage you do for a given move.
1F> Reversals
* A reversal is when you reverse an opponent's move.

2. Some of your wrestler's attributes are customizable, as well.
2A> Attributes (bleeding, jumping distance, ally, enemies, offensive and defensive strengths, and so on)
2B> Size (height, weight, body type)
2C> Name (long and short names)
2D> Music/video (choose from the selections, or choose None)

3. You can customize how he/she looks. Yes, you can make a female wrestler, by copying one of the existing female wrestlers.
3A> Face - customize how he/she looks
3B> Attire - customize what he/she wears
3C> Ring attire - customize what he/she wears, going to the ring
----------------------------------------------------------------
After you've spent a while creating your character, save it and try him/her out. If you ever want to change a move, you can. On WWF No Mercy, you can buy moves at the Smackdown Mall (example: Turnbuckle Powerbomb).
----------------------------------------------------------------
STRATEGY
* While wrestling, try to mix up your moves, especially the striking moves and grapples. Try to reverse your opponent's moves. If you're not near any opponent, use a taunt (to raise your attitude). A predictable wrestler can be countered, or reversed more easily. Also, moves done over and over get less and less effective.

Here are some strategies for specific matches:

Battle royal
* Try to stay away from action. If action comes towards you, be aggressive (but smart). And, don't attack more than one person at a time. By the way, if someone's outside, don't get near him/her.

Cage match
* Wear your opponent out a lot, before trying to climb up the cage. Make sure he/she is on the ground a long time.

Tag team
* Try to keep one opponent on your side of the ring, preferably near your partner. Try to execute double-team moves.
