Final Fantasy 8 is just as good as the other Final Fantasies before it. Some may see its not as good as Final Fantasy 7 but I think its just as good. The graphics and music is no doubt terrific, nothing but quality coming from square soft. The story is also great because it deals with love like no other rpg i've played, other rpgs mya have love in its stories, but probably something on the side but Final Fantasy 8 really deals with it. I don't want to spoil the ending for people who haven't played it yet but its worth it. One of the best endings i've ever seen. I liked the characters too but they didn't match up to Final Fantasy 7's characters. The con of Final Fantasy 8 are of course the random battles but thats not such a big deal and i thought the ability to draw magic from enemies really made the game easy. There wasn't a lot of mini games in Final Fantasy 8 compared to 7. A mini game played through out the whole game is the card game which i don't get how to play but its a good feature added to this must buy title.
