000000's Full Review: Vigilante 8 for Nintendo 64
The graphics and music are both better than any other combat game that I have come across. However, the cars are not the easiest thing to control when you leave the road (over it or in the water). It is cool that you can pretty much go anyplace that you want and go after whatever you want. Shoot-em-up games are not really my thing, but this is once of the best if that is what you are looking for. You get to choose a vehicle and a character which best represents your mood of the moment.

This has to be the best Dreamcast game so far.

After a while I even got pretty good at playing. But, then I decided that I had better things to do with my time.

So, if you have a violent streak and $45 to blow, this is the game for you. If I had kids, I do not think that I would want them to play too many games like this.
