fletcher1's Full Review: Final Fantasy VIII for PlayStation 1

I have been playing Final Fantasy since the first one came out on the old Nintendo Entertainment system. I played all the ones that came out on north american shores and even the ones that never seen the soil of this great country (thanks to emulators ;) ). I can safely say that the latest Final Fantasy certainly lives up to its predecessors. It is the storylines of the Final Fantasy series that keep most of its fans coming back from more. From saving the world from Chaos and the 4 fiends in Final Fantasy I to stopping Meteor in Final Fantasy VII, its the wonderful storylines and characters that keep fans coming back for more. This game is no exception to that. It's a love/action/adventure/mystery story all rolled into one. If you like role-playing games or any kind of computer entertainment you would be doing youself a great dishonor if you didn't play this game. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
