Yoshi-64's Full Review: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time for Nintendo 6...
Ok I have done a review on Zelda 64 before, and one day I went back checking up on my older reviews. Spotting about 7 of my 29 review needed work on them. Lot's of work. I was reading my Zelda 64 review thinking, " Ok that's good, oh yeah, um that's ok, what? What the hell is this. Thinking how could people even think of giving me a SW. I got a Recommend on it, feeling sorry for the people that rated it. Now times have change in that couple of weeks and a new review will be made.
1st week: Being a huge Zelda fan, Playing Zelda 1, 2, 3, and DX. I beat number one when I was four and number two SUCKED. Three was the 2ND greatest game ever. But anyway I was playing it at my friends house, thinking it was ok ? Buy the time I beat the 1st level and was on hyrule field I was hooked and could'nt stop playing it. Then I bought the game, flying right though the part where your a kid in about 2 days and going on to a adult.
Story: The best story I have ever seen, in a game. Your a small hyrule kid living in the forest. The evil Gannon Dorf buts a curse on the Great Deku Tree. You save him yet it's to late. He die's. You get all the Spiritual stones turn to a Adult by getting the master sword. Talk to the Saga's and go 7 years in the future. Ganon dorf has taking over and it's your turn to stop him. Buy saving all the Saga's in the furture and collecting a couple new tools on the way. Meeting new and old people from the past. Save Zelda and beat Gannon Dorf locking him up, for ever.
Game Play: Mix with a adventure and a Rpg. The game is really complex with two huge worlds. Unlike Action games when you beat one level it does'nt go straight to the next, you must do something special and get or find something, to move to the next level. Also Zelda 5 gives you ton's of Weapons and Tools. Levels might take weeks to beat and the stuff that you need to do is stuff you would never think of. Hard yet fun, I recommend this game to anybody over 10. You run around fighting bad guys with your sowrd. There's not allot of fighting out side the levels. 10/10
Control: Zelda lets you choose what Tools, and Weapons you want to use. Using the C-Pads. You go into start choose the weapons that you want like. Hammer on down C. Then when you click down C you use your Hammer. The moving around might take a bit to get use to. But when you do, it's so0 easy. Using "A" to swing your sowrd and Z to target. ( Z target means you hit Z and you target someone making it easy to attack or talk to. 10/10
Graphics: For a older game the graphics are still really good. Yet in some thing's they did'nt put allot of time in it. Like the triangles tree's or the square hands. Yet very 3-d and color-ful. Also has sun-down and everthing is 3-d, nothing really is flat. 9/10
Sound: Dear god, the music is great, even enough to Download on Napster or buy the sound-track. The songs will be stuck in head for hours on days on weeks. I found myself humming the songs on the bug once. Link also sounds good like when he falls or dies. Monster are good to. Yet you read what they say, they don't talk. 10/10
Overall: Great Game, anybody with in 10 miles of a n64 should play it, get it now!!
