Well for most of you final fantasy addicts out there you know what I am talking about. The game starts out fast paced then dies down and keeps dragging all the way to disk 4. all right here's where we compare to other final fantasy's. final fantasy 7 had secrets up the yang all the way through it, final fantasy 8 has very little secrets till disk 3. Final Fantasy had great summons, final fantasy 8 has bad summons. They don't look good and they don't do enough damage as compared to final fantasy 7. The magic system is better but it has flaws, like you shouldn't be able to go to the weakest guy you fight and sit there and draw spells until you can't hold anymore. Where as in all the other final fantasy's you have magic points(MP) you can only use a spell as long as you have the MP. In final fantasy 8 if you limit break you kill anything practically. like squall's final limit break Lion Heart, it hits 5-7 times and knocks you in the air, then he jumps up after you and hits 13 more times for 9999 damage a hit. selphie one of the side kicks has a limit called The End it kills anything (including bosses) in one hit. Well if you feel you must play the game go buy it but when you realize everything that is hyped about the game is not true then you can refer to this and add anything you want.
