Detroit Red Wings' Coach and 8-time Stanley Cup Champion Scotty Bowman helped develop the all-new I.C.E. Artificial Intelligence. Forwards work behind the net or camp out in front looking for the redirect. Defensemen jump into the offensive zone creating odd man rushes and rotate the box on the penalty kill. Players pinch the boards to keep the puck in the offensive zone. All-new graphics include more than 150 new animations. Goalies make glove, blocker, stick, chest and kick saves. They’ll go diving and sprawling across the goal mouth, stacking the pads, and laying on their backs to cover the loose puck. A new puck halo and all-new skating physics help produce the most realistic gameplay ever. Mike Emrick and Darren Pang call all the action with the help of multiple camera angles and the new action cam that gives NHL FaceOff 2000 the look, sound and feel of a real TV style telecast.
