Microsoft's X-Box: The Future of Gaming?

NEW information about Microsoft's X-Box from E3! I have been reading a lot of sites lately about the X-Box trying to help me to decided if I am going to buy one or not. Here is what I have learned...
I gave this product a 10 out of 10.

Cool Facts:
1. The X-Box can play DVD's.
2. The X-Box can use a keyboard and a mouse.
3. The X-Box will have a modem but will NOT be able to surt Internet.
4. The X-Box is due Fall 2001.
5. The price will be similar to Sony PlayStation2 at $299+.
6. The X-Box will have limited USB support.
7. The X-Box will have a hard drive like the PlayStation2.
8. The X-Box will use a special version of Windows 2000.

I have been trying to keep up on all of the news about the X-Box lately. I have seen a lot of the demos out there that show you what the X-Box is capable of and I must say that I am impressed. From what I have seen this is the closest thing we have to having a REAL arcade at our homes!
I am hoping that the X-Box will support some of Microsoft extremely cool hardware. I have almost all Microsoft hardware for my keyboard, mouse, joystick, and wheel and I would love to be able to use them on the X-Box.
I am not sure if I will get the PlayStation2 (see my review) with the X-Box coming around the corner but I must admit that the Dreamcast is definitely in for some trouble.
If you are looking for a console system that is suped up to the max then this is the system to keep an eye on.
