Yes, I actually have a Jaguar. I don't have the CD player though.
I bought it from a close-out place with 6 games for $60.
It honestly wasn't much of a good deal.
Playing the games, it seems apparent that Atari wanted to get into the 3D style games, and quite simply the system is not made to perform such functions efficiently.
Also, the controller I find confusing and cumbersome. It has a tiny keypad built into it, and God-forbid you have to find a button in a hurry. My fat fingers were nothing but trouble, and I usually ended up turning left when I should have been firing a missle.
Yes it is a 64 bit system, but you wonder where all the bits went. The biggest problem I think is the selection of games.
Missle Command 3D is fun, but Doom it seems to struggle.
Iron Soldier you get to be huge robot walking around town attacking another huge robot. This game needs a turbo button.
Then I have Cannon Fodder, which is impossibly hard on this system. When I finally played the PC version, I realized it should have never been converted to a port with such few controls.
Buy it to complete a collection, but I haven't been pulled it.
Maybe I just have the wrong games for it.
