I have gotten some great deals through Mercata's Powerbuys!! When I first signed up, I got $50 off as a first customer & got a 13" color tv w/remote & ended up paying only $65 for it!!!

Mercata is one of those group buying sites where the more people who want to buy an item, the lower it goes.. and it goes pretty low... recently, they started a powerbuy challenge where they offer a product for a period of time & you make an offer & if your offer is at or above the price when the challenge is over, you get it for that final price. They offered a 100 minute AT&T phone card and if 1400 people responded before a certain time,the price would be $1 .... they made it in record time.. I got 4 of them!!!!

I've also gotten a few other items: a jog stroller & a set of two-way radios.. stroller was under $100 and radios were under $50 ... The product selection is great too.. I check it daily to see if there is anything I need. It's great.. no complaints!
