An engagement surprise that has lasted 10 years!

Before I share this 'ENGAGEMENT SURPRISE ' with you I think I'll share with you how to get to this page here at epinions. I had seen quite a few reviews written about "Engagement Surprises" but couldn't figure out how to get to the page where I could write my own opinion....I hate just following links. I wanna know exactly where everything comes from! ..heehee!

Now...on to my story! Guys, this may be something for you to remember!! It can be a little costly...but that special gal will remember it forever!
My middle son, Darly, had gone with the same girl for 8 years....and this was before ever asking her to marry him! Her name is April...and she's the mother of 2 of my wonderful grandchildren!!
Daryl and April decided they wanted to have children...and thought it would be best for all concerned if they were married first....But when was he ever going to get around to popping the question???
April was a secretary and worked 5 days a week...8 hours a day. One Friday I called her and asked if "We could DO lunch"? I arrived at 11:45 a.m...with a "oops! my clock must be running fast"! I had brought my camera with me to drop off at the shop...Hmmm, for some reason it just wasn't working?? I was messing with it and it suddenly went off at exactly 11:55 a.m. The same exact second that Daryl had sent her 1 dozen ...long stem, red roses...at work. There was no card. Everyone was wondering who these beautiful flowers came from...because everyone KNEW that Darly wasn't the "send flowers" type...especially his mom!!
After lunch...at exactly 1;05 p.m....two dozen more long-stem red roses arrived. Again with no card...and again my camera went off! Around 1:30 in walks Daryl...wondering and questioning where the roses came from. Poor April...all she could say was "I don't know"!
At 2:30...3 dozen long-stem red roses arrived!
At 3:30...4 dozen long-stem red roses arrived!!
At 4:30 ...5 dozen more long-stem red roses arrived!!!
And at closing time...5:30, 6 dozen more roses arrived!!!!
None of these had cards! Around 5;00 I got a phone call...April was really starting to worry now...she knew Daryl was going to have a fit when he picked her up from work!!
Well...as luck would have it, Daryl's truck had a flat tire...so I had to drive him to pick April up from work...after~all, I had to pick up my camera from the shop!
When Darly walked in he could have gotten an Academy Award for his performance! He had a bewildered, upset look on his face...and poor April had a "Please don't be upset, I really don't know where they all came from" look on her face!! You could just tell that April was ready for the worst when Daryl approached her. She was so upset about how she was going to explain these roses to Darly...that she didn't even notice the last dozen roses that he held behind his back!
Daryl approached April like he was really going to chew her out!
Then he dropped down on one knee and put the roses in front of April and said.."I love you. Will you marry me?" He also held a beautiful 1 karat diamond ring out for her approval! April turned white as a sheet and cried for the next 1/2 hour straight!
Everyone where she worked was in on this...boss and all! They were all thrilled!!! After April calmed down some champagne and strawberries were served....and we were all surrounded by 20 dozen long-stem red roses!
Un-noticed by April...I gave my camera to one of the other girls in the office and she kept taking pictures...saying they were for her so she could show her boyfriend what a girl at work got 'from a stranger"! These pictures and the 20 dozen 'dried' long-stem red roses were made into a beautiful wall plaque that hangs, to this day, in their den!
