Whitehall, Not trusted anymore....

This past week, my finace and I took a trip to the local Whitehall Diamonds store in our area... what we did find was a very nice store and very decent prices on diamonds and rings. We picked up a wedding ring for her, but not me...the price for my ring was insane...who would have thought White Gold could cost so much. Anyway, the reason I am writing this opinion is because the service at Whitehall was not very good, in our experience.
The initial buying of the ring was great, nothing to complain about. However, our rings are white gold, and the engagement ring has become somewhat tarnished from use, and different body chemistry in my fiance's system will cause that to happen, ask any jeweler. Anyway, we decided to get the ring Rhodium Plated, to make it shine like new once again, something that would make us both happy. No problem so far right? Well, this was on a Wed. And we were told(promised) the ring by Friday around 6:00pm. We decided to pick it up Saturday afternoon, to give it some more time incase something was delayed...in which case the store should have called us...so we assumed everything was going OK. We got to the store and were served and the saleman looked for the ring...nowhere. He then apologized and called the jeweler to see what the delay was, apparantly it was on it's way to the store as we waited...a day late. We could not afford time to wait so we left, and were told it would be there in an hour, and to come back. We decided to come back the following day to get it. We got to the store and once again, it was not around. The jeweler was called and he 'forgot' the ring, and he would bring it around 5:00 that night! Two days after we were promised it! Now we did finally recieve the ring late that night, but what would have happened if we were really last minute shoppers and needed the ring for that weekend? We would have been without wedding rings. Whitehall will no longer be receiveing money from my family due to the lack of service.
