preteen gifts
Jan 09 '00
I think this is a difficult age to buy gifts. This age is between little girls and teenagers.
My daughter isn't allowed to wear obvious makeup at her school. The girls do like the body glitter, hand lotions, and antibacterial cleansers, that they can put in their purses and backpacks.
Most of my daughter's friends like the "bubble gum" music or the contemporary Christian artists. The difficult thing is to keep up with what is in and what isn't. Cd's are preferred, but often they can use cassettes also if you are on a tighter budget.
Hair accessories are a great gift. The new bobby pin type clips are good for any length hair or style.
Beanie babies are still hot. You don't have to get Ty beanies. There are many other fun ones.
Last but not least, money is always a good gift. You could put it in a new purse or in a gift card.
Good luck shopping.
