These are a mess to use. by honnybrown Pros: If inserted correctly, you can't feel the cup.
Cons: Messy to put in, messy to remove, difficult to insert correctly. A cup gets inserted before your period starts (ideally). I put it in after I started. You use your fingers to push it up to its location. If it's positioned incorrectly, you will get leaks. The only way to know that it is positioned incorrectly is when you start leaking. It's impossible to move it around up there. Removing it is worse, because the contents of the cup spills. Disposal is a very disgusting matter.

Be careful if you really want to sign in to this place by alsomember Pros: convinient location
Cons: everything else... I had been a member of this place for more than 3 years and after I got injured and was not able to attend the club anymore. They did everything to withdraw the money from my account, even after I cancelled my debit card, they got in to my account and added $9.00 late fee. Instead of accepting my cancellation I was given a credit to be utilized for freezing my account. After that time I suddenly found out that my membership was not cancelled several months ago and I would be still paying for not using the gym. It was so easy to sign in but so hard to cancel.

Very good medication by scottsmth23 Pros: Safe and effective.
Cons: You have to dissolve in water first. The airborne products are the best. They prevent colds and hasten the healing even if you have a cold. I always take them on plane with me.

Unreliable scale by gangofone Pros: Large readout. Easy to set up for body fat analysis.
Cons: Suspect weight and bodyfat monitoring. Takes a long time to zero out. I purchased this scale locally to monitor my body weight for a weight loss program. My plan was to use it to monitor just my weight but thought the body fat monitoring feature would be interesting to use occasionally. My complaints are twofold for this scale:
View more details
1) The body fat readout is unreliable; 2) I question whether the weight readout is consistently accurate. I'll explain them further below. 1) In short, when I weighed 188 lbs., the scale told me that I was at about 22% body fat. When I had gotten down to about 170 lbs, it told me I was at 25% body fat. I've never used the body fat mode again. 2) I weigh myself every day. Sometimes when I step on the scale, I will initially see a different weight but then it pops back to the weight I was the day before. Sometimes it goes back and forth between these two weights a few times before it settles on one. These two weights can sometimes be a few pounds apart. It just makes me wonder if it's trying to think too much about it. I just want a scale that I can step on and get my weight. |

Viactiv caramel flavor is delicious by bluhrig Pros: delicious
Cons: sometimes hard to peel off the wrapper Suddenly I found I was choking when trying to swallow all the calcium pills, vitamins, etc. I had to take every day. I finally gave up and switched to Viactiv. I like the caramel better than the chocolate flavor. It actually has the taste and consistency of a good caramel candy. My doctor reminded me to take about 1500 mg of calcium, so I am now taking three a day. They do have a calorie count, but it can't possibly harm your diet in any way. If you're worried, leave out one snack a day and you will probably lose weight. Viactiv already has the Vitamin D you need to better absorb the calcium. They work best if you take them after eating a meal which also enhances absorption. Because I take them, I am getting enough calcium and not hurting my throat trying to down a horse pill--calcium tablets are big. And, I don't have to take a separate Vitamin D tablet, either.

Crazy Cancellation Policy by jls11 Pros: Open 24 hours.
Brand new. Cons: Cancellation policy. Other gyms give you more for your money. Anytime Fitness just opened a new location by my house so I went and took a tour. When I asked what their cancellation policy was they informed me you can only cancel if you move out of state or have a note from your doctor. I find it crazy to think that if I sign up for a gym and not happy with it down the road I can't make the decision to drop my membership, but instead have to have a note from my doctor. I ended up joining a gym that only requires 30-day notice if you want to cancel your membership.

DON"T WAIST YOUR MONEY by frozenincnd Pros: NICE BOX
Cons: doesn't do much of anything What a piece of garbage! I live in Western Canada and I must say it gets very dry here in the winter. I decided to purchase the best built in humidifier I could find. And this is not it. The output of the unit is pathetic, I have a very hard time getting anywhere near 30% humidity in the house. The design problem is water doesn't stick to the plastic disk, so the water doesn’t evaporate much more then if there was no disks in it at all. Save you money and buy a much cheaper Honeywell or any drum style with a foam wicking pad. they are pain to clean but at least you will get the humidity you need. This item doesn't do much of anything.

Very nice shoe for Northern Wisconsin by kalpia Pros: Good value
Comfortable Cons: None so far...knock on wood. Cabela's had this shoe on sale ($50) and I was torn between another pair of Columbia's (I had my last for for about 10 years and liked them a lot) and these. After reading over 300 reviews and seeing that these had a 4.6/5 rating, I clicked the "put in cart" button and hear they came; I think I made the right choice. I paid extra to get them shipped quicker but that's my problem, nothing to do with the shoe or Cabela's. The shoes got here in time to go sleding with the kids and that was a big plus. The shoes are solidly made, comfy, warm, and water proof (I haven't actually dunked them to check this out but my feet have stayed dry); couldn't ask for anything more. I'll let you know more when the temps hit -25F and I'm plowing snow but for now...yea, I got a good shoe for a great price. I won't give them a 5* rating (just yet) until I have more time to see how they perform in adverse conditions (long walks in the woods hunting Bambi or Thumper) and to see how they hold up to some real world wear and tear.

Fantastic Product by shawn2009 Pros: Strong, hard nails. Easy to use.
Cons: It's easy to apply too thick resulting in bubbles and bumps. My nails tend to chip and peel. Whole layers will start peeling from the tips and the tips will chip off from typing. I was having a horrible time growing them out. Finally, I found Hard as Wraps! Within 2 weeks my nails were looking decent again. Within a month they were long and beautiful. If you're having these kinds of problems give this stuff a try. You wont be sorry.

Apply a thin coat to clean nails. Wait for a few minutes and they'll be dry and strong. You only need one thin coat. Two coats or a thick coat will result in bubbles and bumps. You can apply color over. Makes a beautiful natural nail look. Provides shine to bare nails. |

WAS a good quality AFFORDABLE moisurizer for dry skin by katylt Pros: Removes dead skin cells for a healthy, youthful glow. Good moisturizer. Gives sun protection. Affordable
Cons: Was discontinued by Avon Avon Anew All-in-one Max Perfecting Cream is a great product for dry skin. It has sun protection as well. It produces results as good as more expensive department store products.
View more details
I'm dissapointed that Avon has chosen to discontinue it. Because it was affordable to most people, I beleive Avon wasn't making the huge profit they wanted on it. I do hope that Avon will bring it back... just like it was. Not like the Nurtura cream that kept getting re-packaged in a smaller container and higher price for more profit. Avon Wake UP. Americans aren't working. Many are in low income situations. We can't sacrifice to buy your higher priced skin care products at the cost of not getting bills paid or groceries. Therefore, we don't buy from you at all. Another point to remember is that everytime we resort to ebay to find the products that you discontinue we discover that it's a better bargain to buy there than through your representatives. |

ECover tablets work great by ellenpaul Pros: Works great; keeps phosphorous out of the water to prevent eutrophication! Every little bit helps.
Cons: None. We have been using ecover tablets for about a year and we are very satisfied. An extremely green friend told us the tablets work better than the liquid.
View more details
I was skeptical at first, because with the tablet, how do you get detergent for the second wash? But it turns out the tablet is made so that it dissolves in two stages. It is important to NOT put it into the second wash part of the detergent basket or else your first wash won't have any detergent (because of course the lid will be closed). I just put it into the first wash part of the detergent basket or even in the silverware basket. It really does a great job and we like knowing that we are doing what we can to keep phosphorous and other nasty stuff out of the water supply. |

A HUGE money-waster by rmh29 Pros: Gives a fresh clean feeling
Cons: makes a mess expensive hassle and not worth it I am not picking on this particular product alone but all of the foaming iso active toothgels by AquaFresh. When I first bought it I loved it and it does really work by giving you a fresh feeling and shiny teeth. I used it for a few days, but then in fine print at the top of the bottle it said "For best results, wipe nozzle before and after use."
View more details
I followed this rule, but after about a week I noticed a crust forming every time I used the toothpaste. The excess toothpaste dried up around the edges of the lid and turned into a sticky, minty mess. I like this product because it really works and gives you a nice clean feeling. The experience other than that isn't worth it. Plus there are plenty other toothpastes out there that work just as good without the mess. Iso Active Flouride toothpaste by Auqafresh didn't fit in with my lifestyle very well and added frustration and mess to my morning routine. |

As a window washer I NEED it! by jayswine Pros: Nongreasy and works!
Cons: will wash off. I have found this lotion to be excellent. I clean windows for a living(I sell Avon for fun!) and in the winter time my hands really dry out and chap. I have used other, but when my hands get chapped this is one of the few lotions that doesn't irritate them, maybe because it's not full of perfumes.

Comforable with a capital "C" by tarangelina Pros: air cirulation
comfortable supportive to arch of foot handles a variety of terrain water ok Cons: unprotected foot These sandals are great. I wore them on many hikes in Yosemite, from steap trails to walking through rivers. They held snug on my feet, and at the end of the day my feet felt fine; no soarness or tired toes!

Not worth having... by gregor99 Pros: lightweight and small
Cons: annoying click every 5 or 6 seconds, similar to Conair sound machines This sound machine has several sounds that are okay. But there is an annoying "click" every 5 or 6 seconds. This is due to the repetition in the sound cycle of this machine. This is nonsense, as I had a much more expensive sound machine in the mid 1980's that had no clicks or disruptions.

The ocean sound, which is my favorite sound, should be the sound of waves only, but also has the screeching of sea gulls in the background, which is distracting and annoying. |

Poor quality product by jmk62 Pros: None
Cons: Cost Short time of color lasting poor customer service streaky results I tried this product despite its poor reviews on other review web sites. I should have listened to the other reviewers. For me, the product did not last more than a week before I had to apply more. Luckily I read from another reviewer that you can use the tube more than once by just capping it and making sure all the air is out of it. I have much better results with the products my wife buys, they last longer and provide more uniform color. Do yourself a favor and avoid wasting your money on this product.

Pricey, but worth it. by supergyro2k Pros: refreshing, clears up blemishes, very gentle
Cons: very expensive but there are similar generic products offered at a lower price About five years ago I got a small sample bottle of this stuff from the dermatologist and was amazed at how gentle it feels. This cleanser is so soft on you skin that it feels like moisturizer. I actually double-checked the bottle to make sure it wasn’t moisturizer. I’ve used it continually since then, and (aside from a blemish here and there) my face is clear. Unfortunately, it is way more expensive than the other facial cleaners I’ve seen on the shelf and my skin still dries out a little after using it. It doesn’t feel like my face is on fire like with alcohol based cleansers, and I just use facial moisturizer now. Try it. You’ll almost certainly prefer it to what you’re using now.

Unique fragance by racerx2005 Pros: Unique fragance. Manly.
Cons: Hard to find but worth it. I've been wearing this perfume for years. I really love it. It's so unique that friends, females and males, always ask me what perfume I'm wearing. My girlfriends buy the "Presence" to gift their husbands/boyfriends so that's sums it up. My wife loves it and so do I.

Dry underarms even after workout by racerx2005 Pros: It keeps your underarms dry even after a workout.
Cons: Full effective after 1 to 2 days. In a regular day I don't get wet underarms when wearing it.
View more details
The product is really good; as a matter a fact I get all sweaty at the gym, e.g. chest, back, abdominal, but my underarms, believe or not, don't get wet to the point of having sweat stains. Spinning class? at the end of it I'm all drenched then again with dry underarms. You will believe me only after trying it, it's that effective. |

HMDX Alarm Dock - Not Recommended by celiae Pros: - Modern, attractive design- Able to charge Iphone- Two Alarms- Nature Sounds
Cons: -Static Interference -Speakers sound blown - Two Alarms feature but only 1 wakeup medium I purchased the HMDX-C20 Alarm Clock Radio Dock for Ipod for my boyfriend for Christmas in 2009.
View more details
It's ultra modern display is very appealing and he loved his gift, however we were hugely disappointed shortly after day 1. We noticed static interference occurring sporadically after about 10 mins of playback use. This occurred on the nature setting, regular FM radio, and the MP3 playback on our Ipod. (Note, we have had multiple alarm clocks in the same location and never experienced an issue like this before). We followed the instructions in the troubleshooting section of the user manual and relocated the unit to another area on a different power outlet, however the same problem continued. In addition, we noticed the sound quality is extremely poor. It sounds as if the speakers are blown when playing tracks at or below the midway point for the volume. I do not recommend this unit, and plan to return it this week. |
