Pros: Krups, Looks Good, Tastes Good Cons: Leaky Pitcher
This is a product that's been on my counter top now for several years. My husband and I received the Krups Crystal Arome Plus Time Coffee Machine as a wedding gift. In fact, we selected this very coffee machine to grace its presence on our gift...

Pros: Built-in water filter system, 24-hour timer, non-spill carafe Cons: Expensive and not designed with a lefty in mind. hard to pour water into.
Krups coffee makers have become synonymous with excellence in home coffee brewing. At least that is what they think. While I would agree they make a great cup of coffee, their coffee maker designs are often very puzzling. Questions like “Why would you...

Pros: great design, long-lasting machine Cons: expensive
Most of the time I don't give a lot of thought to what brand of small appliances I buy. If I see something I need and the price is right, I buy it. If it works, I buy it again and again. The Krups Crystal Arome coffeemaker is one of those appliances....

Pros: attractive, water filtration system Cons: nearly impossible to find filters, carafe difficult to use
I'm reading down the list of "specific points to consider in [my] review here, and the first question is "Why did you buy this product?" Well, darn it, I didn't. I registered for the Krups Crystal Arome Plus Time Coffee Machine for my bridal ...

Pros: Sleek design, stop and serve, duo filter, timer Cons: A bit expensive
I've had my Krups machine for about a week or so now, but I've made many pots of coffee, moreso than I usually do, as I wanted to test this. I'm a bit wired now, but I feel sure about making my review. As it's so new, if I encounter any problems with it...

Pros: timer, good looking, great wedding gift Cons: expensive
Our Saturday and Sunday mornings always start out with the words in my title, concerning who is going to make the coffee. (I possibly left out a thing or two!)
Sparko has begged off sick at times, sweet talked me and offered to pay me large...

Pros: coffee, eventually Cons: spills, shorts, and unidentified fungal growth
Coffee, coffee everywhere
on the floor and on the chair
on the counter, on my blouse
this friggin' coffee's stained the house!
That's my impromptu ode to our Krups Crystal Pro Arome Plus Time (what a stupid name... call...

Pros: Has never needed repair Cons: Stylish but impractical and awkward design, very fussy about seating the carafe, tends to leak
When my trusty, if unremarkable, old Braun coffeemaker died a few years back, I bought the Krups Crystal Arome. I thought the idea of the globe-shaped carafe seemed like a good one: it would hold the heat and the flavour, besides looking very stylish....

Pros: appearance, water filter, holds heat well Cons: poor durability, overpriced
I decided to buy the Crystal Arome Time for a few reasons. My old coffee maker had a swingout basket, taking up too much room on my woefully inadequate countertop. I also wanted to upgrade to a machine with a timer. I have trouble getting out of bed...

Pros: Durable Cons: Pain to set,Filters hard to obtain, parts in general expensive, Carafe won't pour right.
I purchased this coffee maker due to recommendations from friends and family, and the hype behind the brand name. It is an adequate coffee maker but for the cost not any better than than a cheaper brand such as Mr. Coffee, or Black and Decker.

Pros: great flavor and design Cons: expensive, short power cord
Krups has always made a good coffee maker. When I bought this unit, I will confess that I was not particularly discriminating in my search for a coffee maker. The most important feature I required was a timer so I could put the unit next to my bed to...

Pros: Beautiful appearance, timer, rich coffee Cons: Backs up and drips
I'm just a glutton for punishment. I received the Crystal Arome three years ago as a gift; a devoted coffee maven, I was impressed by its attractive no-Mr.-Coffee-here appearance, its absolutely necessary timer, and its ability to make nice, strong...

Pros: Novel appearance Cons: Carafe leaks, inconvenient design, below standard coffee
Bought this coffeemaker (fortunately at a close out price) because of good experience with KRUPS coffeemakers about 10 years ago. It was also novel looking. Well, that's it's best feature.
It only makes 10 cups of coffee, takes up a lot of...

Pros: Stylish design Cons: Cost & difficulty of replacing parts.
I recently bought a Krups Cystal Arome Plus Time coffee maker for which I paid $90. I was replacing a Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker with which I had had several problems.
Initially, I was somewhat disappointed that my coffee wasn't...

Pros: stop and serve feature, timer, filter Cons: design defect results in short-lived timer/clock
I bought this coffee maker for myself and my husband as a "treat" almost a year ago, based on the brand name and its reputation, and on the features. Well, the features broke, and the brand name, while fine, is really not worth the cost of...
