    Pros: Easy to use.
    Cons: Completely unreliable.

Summary: We finally decided to get a freezer and got a Kenmore upright model. We liked it at first but after eight months it failed. It still showed that it was set at zero but the actual temperature was in the mid 20s. There were no alarms, just the freezer ... read more

  • Kenmore Frostless 15 - Our Smartest Buy yet!

    Nov 18, 2000 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: It's a Kenmore, so it will last forever. A freezer allows you to stock on on sale items, good for large families!
Cons: No matter what size you get, you'll always want a bigger one later on.

Summary: Before we had kids, we never gave much thought to needing additional freezer space. I did some stocking up, but the freezer above our refrigerator (Kenmore, of course) was always sufficient. Well, after you have kids, and you start the ... read more

Summary: To own a freezer is a must in this day and age. If you are going to buy one, be smart and do it right the first time. I originally bought this freezer when I won two cases(44) of whole chickens at a meat shoot. As you could imagine, that very next day ... read more

Pros: Easy Access, Low Electric Usage
    Cons: Some Internal space wasted

  • Why..Because side by side freezers stink!

    Dec 11, 1999 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: large capacity, frost free, upright
    Cons: takes up space

Summary: If you have a family, you will eventually realize that the space in a standard Refrigerator/Freezer is hardly enough. Especially if you own a 22 CF. Side by side model, like we do. The side by side has absolutely no room for large trays or platters. ... read more

Summary: We purchased the Kenmore upright 253 model (actual model # 253.23724100) to replace an older freezer. Worked great for about 6 months. Now we have to check the door 4-5 times a day to make sure it's still sealed. The key doesn't work (never has) and we ... read more

Pros: convenient, easy to reach all items, not like a chest type deep freeze,
Cons: frost free doesn't keep food as long as a deep freeze or non frost free.
