Pros: You can buy it as a normal grate electric oven and save a few hundred.
Cons: You have to be careful with the spills on the smooth top.
Summary: I love the new Gemini, but I prefer the grate top.
The smooth top is very pleasing to the eye but the regular grate top ( Electric ) seems to be better for the busy and family cook. It is also a few hundred dollars cheaper.
