Whew!! I'm glad We got this warranty!!Oct 18, 2000 Write an essay on this topic.I just bought my home in March of this year. During the buying process we were offered a home warranty that is good for a year and covers all of the appliances and everything else that came with the house!! Luckily for us the original home owner agreed to buy it for us! It is beginning to get cold around Oklahoma so I called my local gas man to come and light my pilot light for me and test it for Carbon Monoxide, he took one look at our furnace and refused to turn it on! The heater was so badly rusted that it had rusted a 5 inch hole in the heat exchange and had we used it it would have killed us!! So I called my warranty company and immediately they sent out a Heat and Air contractor and the whole central Heat and Air unit was replaced and all we paid was the $35 deductable!! Now I am so grateful that we have this warranty!! Without it we would have paid over $2000 for a new system! Now I am not saying that all warranties are good but I do offer this advice...If you are in the market for a new home, I strongly suggest that you purchase the warranty...or if you get lucky like we did maybe the original owner will pay for it! But either way it is worth every penny!!  |
