Tweet Holiday's goodie that are quick to make: Fudgy Buttons: 2 tablespoon butter or margarine 1-1/2 teaspoons baking cocoa 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar 1/2 teaspoon milk 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter In a small saucepan, melt the butter, remove from the heat. Add cocoa and mix well. Stir in sugar.Add milk and stir until smooth. Add peanut butter and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper, flatten tops and shape in 1-in patties. Makes 1 1/2 dozen. Speedy Brownies: 2 cups sugar 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1 teaspoon salt 5 eggs 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup (6oz) semisweet chocolate chips In a mixing bowl, combine the first seven ingredients, beat until smooth. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in x2-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake a 350 degree for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in a pan on a wire rack. Makes 3 dozen.
