I got the Panasonic Mid size microwave NN-S547 after my other one gave out on me. We decided on this one because of it's price and the added features on it. It has auto defrost and auto reheat on it. I don't use the reheat one much but I'm still learning all of the gadgets. It has a frozen foods, side dish, snack and popcorn buttons. It is compact and very easy to clean. There is a glass plate that rotates that will come out to clean.
I think the best feature is a kid lock on it. If you push the start button three times"child" appears on the screen. It does not lock the door but prevents the operation of the microwave. To cancel all you have to do is push the stop/reset button three times. I needed that on my old one. Do you know what it is like to clean baby formula up after your son started the microwave back up when you are in the other room!!!! What a mess that was.
I love my microwave and don't think I could live without it.
