Monkey BreadAug 17 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Don't ask me why it's called Monkey Bread. All I know is that it's good! This is a yummy cake that everyone will enjoy during the holidays or on any day of the year. INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 packages of refrigerated biscuits TOPPING: 1 tsp. cinnamon, sugar, 1 stick margarine Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a bowl. Cut the biscuits into quarters and roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture. Layer the biscuit quarters in a buttered bundt pan. (Basically, you just throw the covered biscuit pieces into the pan. It doesn't matter how they are in there.) Once all biscuits are covered and in the bundt pan, pour any remaining sugar mixture into an 8 oz. measuring cup. Add 1 tsp. cinnamon and enough sugar to fill the cup. Melt margarine. Pour sugar/cinnamon mixture into margarine. Spoon over top of biscuits. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
