Great for light jobs around the house
Written: Feb 27 '00
Pros:Easy to use and quick charging
Cons:Only good for light jobs.
I got this great little drill as a house warming present from my mother. At first I thought..."is this a hint", but I soon realized that a drill is a vital piece of household equipment.
It has decent power for a cordless model and that's what makes it idea for household chores. If you need to do any heavy building or repair this is not the tool for you!
It comes with two rechargable cells that only take a couple of hours to recharge. I have found that once charged I can complete just about any task before needing to recharge the cells. I have used it to build ready made furniture (by Sauder and Bush) and to hang shelving. For this type of use the drill performs flawlessly.
The kit I got also came with a screwdriver adapter...another vital piece of equipment. No more wrist aches after turning and turning....just put in the right bit and zip zip zip....its done.
The drill provides bi-directional modes and is simple to use....great for the Ameature handyperson or even the person who thinks the are an ameauture handyperson.
