Fettucini Ditalini- 1 Stick of Margarine,1 cup mixed grated romano & parmesan cheese, 1 cup heavy cream, 2 eggs. 1 16oz box Ditalini(pasta), fried bacon strips (about 6-8 to crumble over pasta when done),chopped fresh parsley. In a quart saucer pan melt margarine over low flame,with fork stir in cheese, quickly pour in heavy cream, keep stiring so it won't lump,meanwhile have the 2 eggs in another cup,break yolks and pour some of the heated cream into it,stir rapidly so the egg won't cook,once mixed pour the egg mixture into the pot over low flame, let it cook for 5min. stiring frequently.Meanwhile in another large pot bring about 3qt water to a boil with salt(to taste),cook the Ditalini aldente (10-12 min),drain and pour fetucini sauce onto the pasta stir,garnish with bacon pieces and parsley. This recipe takes in total 15-20mins to make. If you like the sauce to be a little thinner just add Half-n-Half instead. Enjoy et Bon Appetit!
