~*~ DEEEEEEEELICIOUS PEACH OR APPLE CRISP ~*~

Jul 05 '00 (Updated Jul 07 '00)

My friend Jennifer got me hooked on this recipe for my birthday one year. I was shocked when I found out how easy it was to make. Peel a few peaches, throw a few ingredients together and its all done. It smells so good baking its hard to wait for it to finish cooking. We like to serve this recipe at our monthly Bunko groups, with a side of vanilla ice cream of course. Here is what you do......

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375*

~*~INGREDIENTS~*~

6 Cups sliced, peeled apples or fresh peaches.

1 TBSP cinnamon

~*~TOPPING~*~

3/4 Cup Flour

1 Cup rolled oats

3/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 Cup margarine or butter softened

Place the peeled and sliced fresh peaches or apples in the bottom of an un greased 12 x 18 inch baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the peaches or apples.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all topping ingredients; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the peaches and apples, and bake at 375* for 25-30 minutes. Or until the peaches or apples become tender, and the topping is golden brown.

Like I said before, serve by itself, or A LA MODE. This is a great recipe for when you have friends over to play cards, or movie night. It doesn't take long to throw it together, and it is so so yummy!!

ENJOY!!!!!
