I live in a rural community and our water supply comes from a deep well. Our water is hard and with hard water I have found that some of the regular cleaning supplies just can't cut the soap build up that forms on the bathroom fixtures and tub. I have found that The Works Tub and Shower cleaner allows me to spend a lot less time scrubbing my tub and shower, along with the stainless fixtures.

The The Works Tub and Shower cleaner is fairly inexpensive and works fantastic. It comes in a hard water formula which is what I buy. It is recommended to be use in both the kitchen and the bathroom. I have never used it in the kitchen but it is the only product that I have found that really cuts the hard water build up on my shower and tub.

If you are anything like me, you absolutely hate cleaning, especially when it cuts into your precious free time that you could be spending with your family. I work full time and so anytime that I am not at work I like to spend with my family and I don't want to spend my weekends scrubbing bathrooms all day.

The Works Tub and Shower Cleaner is formulated to work on acrylic, ceramic, and fiberglass finishes. It is not recommended to be used on colored grout, marble, terrazzo, glazed surfaces, chrome, or polished metallic finishes. It is a non-abrasive liquid that will not scratch most surfaces.

It is recommended that you wear gloves when using this product. I strongly recommend following that piece of advice. I failed to put on my gloves one time and my hands peeled the following day. This is a strong product. The smell is strong and adequate ventilation is required. I spray the product on the surface of my shower and tub and then leave the room. I then let it sit for a few minutes. When I return I am able to take a wet rag or sponge and wipe the build up off of the area with no scrubbing required. Then rinse thoroughly. Now that's what I call cleaning!

The active ingredient is Phosphoric Acid. Although other ingredients are used they are not listed on the container. It comes in a one quart container with a on/off switch on the spray nozzle. Just turn one quarter of a turn to the on position and you are ready to spray. Another quarter turn and the nozzle is in the off position.

There is a precautionary statement listed on the container, warning you to not mix this product with any other household products.

I highly recommend The Works Tub and Shower Cleaner to everyone that hates to spend a lot of time cleaning, but especially to those that have to deal with the problems associated with a hard water supply.
