Here is a fast to make chili that my mom used to make for us.
Pronto Chili
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion,chopped
1 medium green pepper,chopped
2 to 3 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 can (14-1/2ounces)Mexican stewed tomatoes
1 can (15-3/4 ounces)chili beans in gravy
1 cup frozen corn
Shredded cheddar cheese,optional
In a 2-qt.saucepan,cook beef,onion and green pepper until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender.Drain.Add next six ingredients,cover and simmer for 20 minutes.Sprinkle individual servings with cheese,if desired.Serves 6.
This chili can be made in a flash and is easily doubled or tripled to satisfy any famished family.
