Fruited Chicken Salad

If you happen to have a bunch of chicken meat just sitting around, you might want to use it for this salad. This is especially good when the weather is hot.
Combine cut up cooked chicken meat with about an equal amount of cold cooked white rice, stir in enough Miracle Whip to moisten, add a handful or so of seedless green grapes and some drained crushed pineapple. The amounts, first of all, are going to depend on how much meat you started with; you don't want any one flavor to predominate, but then again, you want enough so you get some of each in every bite. Now add slivered almonds, as many as you can afford, since they're kinda expensive. Lightly salt and serve. Make sure you keep this dish cold, and refrigerate leftovers (if there are any) promptly, because food poisoning can ruin your day faster than a wet dog at a wedding reception.
