Two years ago, my wife and I got married. For one of our wedding gifts, we received the Black & Decker handy chopper from my 72 year old great aunt. Now, when my wife brought this thing home from a wedding shower, I asked "what the heck is this?" I had no clue at the time what a great little gadget this was.

First of all, this chopper/mincer is a small, very small appliance. At the time, it was as small as a cellular phone, but not that small anymore. It takes up very little counter or drawer space. I don't recommend putting in a drawer. This may cause excessive use on the drawer ultimately causing you to replace moving parts and handles on the drawer due to retrieving this wonderful little gadget.

One of my favorite qualities is the diversity of this handy dandy little chopper. At first, I just used it for cooking. You know, chopping up onions, garlic, nuts, and other ingredients for my favorite recipes, but one evening, I had a light bulb go off in my head. And let me tell you one thing, that doesn't happen often. My wife and I both like margaritas and daquaris, but I hated pulling out the monster sized blender we have, so I decided to see if this little gizmo could chop ice. Well, could it chop ice. It did better than our blender. Since we are not heavy or avid drinkers, it works out well because you can make single serve drinks at your leisure. We have also used it to chop up food for our baby as she grows up. It makes great baby food. I also use it to chop up B-B-Q brisket for chopped beef sandwiches. The uses are endless.

I have found our chopper to be a very dependable and asset to our kitchen. We have been using it for a little over two years, at least twice a week, and it still purs like a a kitten. We are still using the same blade and it is just as sharp today as it was when we got it; even after over 200 margaritas.

This Black & Decker wonder is very easy to use. It has a 1 1/2 cup copping compartment with a twist off, lock in removable top. It is very easy to fill. The top twists back in to place and the large pulse button makes operating it very simple. After use, the marvel cames apart and is very easy to clean. You can wash it by hand or it is dishwasher safe.

Since receiving this product, we have given one to three couples for weddings and anniversaries. They are as pleased as we are. Please go find and purchase one today. You will not regret it.
