I guarantee you will love it, too!! Ingrediants: 1 box of spice cake mix 1 box of devil's food cake mix 2 16-oz cans of pumpkin 2 tablespoons cinnamon 2 tablespoons nutmeg Preparation: Follow directions for blending ingrediants on each cake mix, then blend the two mixtures. Add pumpkin and seasonings and blend well. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with a spoonful of whipped topping and drizzle the glaze over it. Cinnamon Bourban Glaze Ingrediants: 1 1/4 sticks butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/8 cup corn syrup allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg 2/3 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup bourban Preparation: Melt butter and skim off unclear portion, using only clarified portion Add brown sugar and let simmer Add corn syrup and continue to simmer until it begins to thicken Season with allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg Remove from heat Add heavy cream and stir Bring back to a boil and add bourbon This makes a delicious dessert. Everyone you know will love it, and if they don't, just drink the bourbon glaze and it won't matter anymore!!  |
