We bought this vacuum just about 3 weeks ago. Before that we were using a Kirby. I had been wanting one of these bagless vacuums that had the HEPA filtration system on it, so when we saw that this vacuum was on sale for $127 we grabbed it up. We had just vacuumed with our Kirby about an hour or two before bringing home this new vacuum, but we had to play with our new toy, so we vacuumed again. We were quite amazed that our Kirby left all this dirt and dander behind. We have a new home, with new carpet and this vacuum was still picking up loose carpet fibers that the Kirby completely missed. Our son has pretty bad asthma, irritated by allergies. This HEPA filtration system has worked wonderfully. Any time that we vacuumed before resulted in a little boy with an asthma attack unless he wore a mask during vacuuming. No more! He sits in the same room and does not show one sign of any reaction.
The color of the vacuum leaves something to be desired, but who sees my vacuum? We vacuum several times a day and are pleased to be able to see that our vacuum works well. It leaves no doubt as to its functioning because it is clearly visible when looking at the dirt trapper. And it is so easy to empty! No more fighting to put bags in or to take them out. Just release the dirt cup and dump.
I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone. It is certainly much better than my Kirby has ever been, not to mention much, much cheaper.
