I love the tart apples and the sweetness of the caramel in the Snickers together. The nuts in the Snickers bars are essential if you like your taffy apples rolled in nuts. If you don't, then I'm sure substituting Milky Ways would be okay. I'm not a nut-loving person, but I do think the Snickers are perfect in this dish. Enjoy! Taffy Apple Salad 6 full-sized Snickers bars 6 Granny Smith apples 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened 1 jar marshmallow creme 1 8-oz. tub of Cool Whip Cherries, optional Cut Snickers and apples into bite-sized pieces. Cover and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, marshmallow creme and Cool Whip. Blend until smooth. Fold in the Snickers bars and apples. Garnish with cherries, if desired.
