Hamilton Beach Classic DrinkMaster Drink Mixer 65250 gives our kitchen the feeling of an old fashioned soda fountain!

In our small town, about 35 years ago we could go down to the soda fountain. Located at the local drug store, you could enjoy an old fashioned frappe. This was made before your eyes, and poured into a fancy glass with the metal container set before you to add to your glass as your glass was getting empty.

Oh what a treat, and only for a mere $.35. Of course, sitting on the swivel stools at the soda bar made it much more fun.

Time has passed and memories become blurred, but the taste and smell memories will last a lifetime.

Now with my own Hamilton Beach Classic DrinkMaster Drink Mixer 65250 I am able to recreate the taste and smell of days gone by.

This unit sits on my countertop, just waiting for someone to say, "Let's have a frappe!" On that note I am up and getting out the chocolate syrup and the vanilla ice cream and milk and within minutes a delicious frappe is created.

Now just slip the metal container under the lip and rest on the little ledge. With the blending tool securely pushed into the top motor, you begin with the first speed to start the blending. Then as it is mixing you can increase your speed to finish the job.

The Head of the blender tilts out to remove the metal container, and with two glasses and a couple of straws and a napkin, your frappe is ready!

Smooth and cold and oh so delicious, and if you are alone, who's to say you can't drink them both....(smile)

Clean up is a breeze with this one, just some hot soapy water and rinse well, then wipe with a dry cloth and it is just like new. Wipe off the mixer stand from any splatters with a damp cloth. The mixing wand pulls right out for washing and wiping the same way and back on the shelf it goes for the next urge.

Now theHamilton Beach Classic DrinkMaster Drink Mixer 65250 is not limited to only frappes, you can also use this for instant drink mixes, and fruit smoothies. You would have to smash up your bananas if you wanted to use those in it but then it would mix very well.

Unconventional, but would work, would be to blend your gravy to get all the lumps out for Thanksgiving.
