Appliance warranites
Jan 29 '00
Most appliances come with a one year warranty, and if this is for a small applicance that you didn't pay much for that should be enough. If this was an inexpensive appliance it may start going kaplunk by the end of a year of usage. Now if this is for an expensive large appliance and the extra extended warranty is offered, you may want to get one that offers inhome service. That would be worth it. I used to work at a Service Merchandise and they were always pushing us to sell these extended warranties and offering us money for each one, I used to offer it to the items that I knew would be worth it, but hardly ever to the small ones, because the item usually lasted well past a year and that was just a little extra money they could have used for something else.
