We will be in looking to replace our cabinets soon and were thinking of going with the MIlls Pride. I hadn't done any research on them yet here at epinions but I was excited when I saw your review. They sound like a great deal and they sound very nice. Our kitchen is on the small side so hopefully it won't be as expensive to do as your's was! Thanks for the info!

I'll have to check these out! My kitchen could use a face lift -- and Home Depot is where I can get lots of gift certificates from the points programs! Thanks for such an informative review! :)

Mills Pride Cabinets - Poor (Reply to this comment)

We purchased Mills Pride cabinets for our house in September 2007 and to date (February 2008) have NOT completed the kitchen due to terrible craftsmanship products we have received from Mills Pride. We have had probably 15 to 20 doors replaced (kitchen is only 10 x 10) and are still awaiting some replacements. There is NO care about the customer on this one. Customer satisfaction does NOT even play a role in the whole process. The replacement pieces we have had shipped to us have been either damaged in the process of shipping or were packaged with damaged pieces. It is not difficult to see when the outside packaging is in good shape, the item was packaged with dents and scratches on them, or the pieces were actually broken. How come we put up with such shoddy work? I think more people should respond and let other people know what type of service we receive as customers. Home Depot is just as bad if not worse as items were not ordered that should have been and there was no remorse for the errors. There is NO customer service seemingly - these companies do not care about the consumer. But we still keep buying from them. How stupid are we?????

Mills pride offers inexpensive cabinets that are of decent quality. I just assembled & installed a full set of these cabinets and was satisfied with the product. Home Depot did good job of placing my order and getting all of the pieces in pretty quickly. Its worthy to note that these cabinets come in a million boxes because the door packs come separately. Keep in mind that these are not top of the line, top notch cabinetry but is a decent way to update your kitchen without breaking your budget. The money I saved on the changing out our old cabinets was actually used on adding even more cabinets and a beautiful quartz countertop.
