My daughter invited me over for dinner tonight, I praised her on the fine dinner she had prepared. Here I thought she spent hours preparing such a delicious meal (what a treat to have your daughter pamper her mother) that I was in total shock to find it was a boxed recipe made by STOVE TOP.
I have to admit it was very good, the chicken was moist and very tasty! She was gleaming over the praise I was giving her at dinner and chuckling on the inside, just waiting to show me the box as we were cleaning up the kitchen.
This boxed recipe included all you needed except for the chicken of course, 3Tbsp butter and 2 cups hot water. The preparation time is 5 minutes to mix the ingredients together, (easy to follow directions are listed on the box) place 1 to 1 1/4 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breast (coats approximately 4 to 5 pieces) on top of the prepared Stuffing mix, bake for 30 minutes and your main dish is ready. After tasting this meal I was so impressed with the flavor of the chicken. She also prepared side dishes of extra stuffing, cream corn, fresh rolls and cheesecake for dessert.
Looking over the box I see that it comes in other flavors, she prepared the Traditional Roast Chicken Bake. The other flavors are Herb and Garlic Chicken Bake, Homestyle Barbecue Chicken Bake, Honey Mustard Chicken Bake, Cheesy Chicken Bake and Lemon Chicken Bake.
She admitted that she had tried the Honey Mustard Chicken Bake once before, but her family was not to happy with the taste of the Honey Mustard, but still wanted to try the Traditional.
For the busy Mom this is a quick and easy Brand Name Product that I would recommend you trying. This meal would have even impressed her Mother-in-law!
