High Cost of Robbery

"Excuse me, you want me to pay how much??? For what??? Do the products you sell suck that much???"
Try saying that next time you get hassled about buying an extended warranty. About the only thing that is worth buying one of these for is a car, and only if you plan on owning it for well past the warranty dates. And even then be sure it covers the things you expect to need covered. Wear and tear don't count.
As for home appliances and such, don't bother. The truth is an electronic item that's really defective will die on you well within the first year (often in the first week if you use it a lot). And most warranties are for a year. And if you pay by credit card, some card companies double the warranty for you. So, pay by card!
The fact is that you would pay for something you'll never need. It's all profit for the company. Do you really love them that much to hand them cash for nothing?
